Providing Targeted Solutions for a High-Volume
Financial Service Provider
According to census data, 12.5% of the US population is Hispanic/Latino; and of the approximately 28 million people who speak Spanish at home, about 14 million report speaking English ‘‘less than very well.’’ In light of these statistics, H&R Block sought to develop a comprehensive long-term plan to meet the needs of this significant and, according to projections, rapidly expanding demographic. To do so, H&R Block needed a partner that could, on one hand, effectively communicate with the target audience, and on the other, assist in training Block’s tax professionals so that they could effectively work with this group of customers.
